Last night (Thursday, March 15), Glenfiddich, the world€™s most awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, celebrated 125 years of pioneering achievement with an exclusive 150 person anniversary gala on Liberty Island in New York, hosted by actor Adrian Grenier.

The highlight of the evening was an auction of the first U.S. bottle of the world€™s most valuable single malt — one of 11 available. The 55-Year-Old Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve raised $94,000 becoming the most expensive whisky purchased at auction — with proceeds going to Grenier€™s SHFT Initiatives, a charity dedicated to sustainability causes.
