It is a known fact that almost everyone loves coffee!
Almost everyone drinks it and everyone has their own personal preference on how they like it to taste. That is what brings us to the question above. What is the difference between Ground Coffee and Instant Coffee? The answer to that is actually a little bit more complicated than you would think originally. But don’t worry, I am going to tell you about the differences between these two types of coffee. By the end of this story, you will have all of the information that you are looking for.
To put it as simply as I can, ground coffee and instant coffee have a lot of things in common. They both give you your coffee intake and they’re both very tasty. But there are a lot of differences between the two as well.
For starters, ground coffee is as close as you can get to fresh bean coffee without having to deal with the hassle and trouble of crushing the coffee beans yourself. Ground coffee has all of the freshness as coffee beans would and it takes a lot of the work out of it so when you want some fresh coffee before heading into work, you don’t have to worry about taking 30 minutes out of your morning to crush the beans.
You just put the coffee into your gaggia espresso machine model, let it brew, and you are ready to go OR get the best ground coffee on your way to work at your local coffee stand.
The instant coffee, on the other hand, is usually kept in a plastic container and you only have to take about a spoon full of the coffee grounds inside of it and put it into hot water to make your coffee for the morning. This is one of the fastest ways to get a cup of coffee but you can’t expect it to taste as great and as fresh as the ground coffee that you are used to. This is because instant coffee is meant to give you the caffeine rush you need but it is less focused on the taste of the coffee.
Think of instant coffee as a can of processed fruits. It tastes like fruit but it isn’t as good for you as the regular, non processed fruit would be. Instant coffee is just like ground coffee, except it’s more processed and less natural. Ground coffee is about as natural as you can get without buying the coffee beans, or coffee berries, and crushing them up yourself every morning before brewing your coffee.
This isn’t saying that Instant coffee is bad for you, it’s gonna give you the same effect that ground coffee does but the flavor is going to be noticeably different and there is not much that you can do to fix that. Instant coffee is a great choice if you want to be able to make coffee almost anywhere as long as you have access to hot water. If you plan on going on a long road trip or if you are stuck at work all day and coffee machines are not something that is available to you, and instant coffee is definitely the way to go.
But if you drink coffee for the taste as much as you drink it for the caffeine that it fills you with, you should buy ground coffee because in the end it is the best way to drink coffee. And as long as you don’t add a lot of sugar or creamers in it, it is much healthier for you. To sum it all up, instant coffee will taste less fresh than Ground Coffee will.
