Experience with Dolphin Discovery Cozumel
Swimming with dolphins is truly a unique and magical experience that we will never forget. The dolphin trainers working are friendly, experienced, and very knowledgeable about the dolphins involved with visitors. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Some showers can help as they rinse away seawater, as well as lockers to keep things dry and safe. Visitors love how much is included in the cost of our tickets and can stay entertained until it’s time to head back to port.
Overall, visitors have a great experience swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery Cozumel. You can also go on excursions to Cozumel Cruise Excursions. That is money well spent. I would highly recommend Dolphin Discovery to anyone looking to have an unforgettable time with their family and friends.

Things To Do In Chankanaab Park
I’ve been to Cozumel in Mexico a few times but this last marked my first time traveling there with the kids. In other words, no lazy days at the beach with a bucket of Corona – we needed to find things to do in Cozumel with the kids. Enter Chankanaab Park.
This park is located within the Cozumel National Marine Park and offers almost everything for families to keep everyone happy. And that’s a tough thing to do & make everyone happy but Chankanaab Park is doing such a great job trying to achieve this. From hiking, touring Mayan ruins, snorkeling, and swimming with dolphins, to sitting and reading on the beach, you name it this park is the perfect place to spend a day with your family in Cozumel.
Mayan Ruins
If you’re determined to see the Mayan Ruins in Cozumel, you can experience a bit at Chankanaab Park. However, you may be disappointed to learn that the ruins are just replicas. I know it’s running in so my exceptions are low. To my delight, the park did a great job of displaying the ruins with a short walk through the “jungle” trials. Along the way, you see beautiful statues, wildlife, and waterfalls. I loved the Iguanas we encountered and will never forget the screams that came from Princess One when an Iguana almost as big as her darted across the road in front of her.
The “jungle” trail ends at a replica Mayan village complete with several huts, baths, and an outdoor gathering area. I enjoyed the historic walk with Princess One and talking to her about what things were and how people used to live. Even though it’s a replica, it provides a great introduction to Mayan history and it’s short enough for a five-year-old to keep entertained and soak in a brief history lesson – or at least my humor.
Crocodile Exhibition
One Daughter and I had started our “jungle walk” to find Mayan Ruins when we chanced upon the Crocodile Exhibition. This is a fairly small exhibit with only two covered areas for crocodiles but nonetheless interesting. One exhibit is home to smaller and younger crocodiles while the other has several larger crocodiles swimming or basking in the sun.
